Case studies

Evidence that has already moved decisions.

Wakamoso publishes case studies in three tiers — named deployments where we have clearance, anonymised references where confidentiality obligations apply, and capability statements where engagements are still active.

Through our shareholder partnership

More projects via CDI.

Wakamoso is backed by the Centre for Democratising Information (CDI), a 20+ year community-research and development organisation and one of our shareholder entities. Where a client requires a non-profit (NPC) delivery structure — for funding, grant compliance, or impact-reporting purposes — we deliver through CDI.

CDI’s project portfolio — community development, participatory research, programme evaluation, and skills delivery across South Africa — is published in full on their site. It is a useful reference for the range of community work that sits behind the Wakamoso platform and methodology.

On confidentiality

How we treat client references.

Wakamoso will never name a client without explicit clearance. Some of our largest engagements — including research delivered to South African mining groups, financial institutions, and development funders — are governed by confidentiality obligations we take seriously.

Where we have clearance, we name. Where we have scope to describe the work but not the client, we anonymise by sector. Where we have neither, the engagement is not on this page — but we are happy to describe it in a direct conversation under appropriate NDA.
